According to “Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Implementation of Mandatory Product Certification Management for Lithium-ion Batteries(No. [2023] 10))”, starting from August 1, 2023, relevant certification bodies will accept application of the mandatory product certification (CCC certification) for Lithium-ion cells and batteries, power bank, power adapters and chargers of telecommunications terminal products.

List of key components and materials for Lithium-ion cells and batteries (0915) was formulated, after discussed by all members of the TC03 experts group (see annex).

Regarding power supplies (0807, 0907) and mobile power banks (0914), excluding the internal components of Lithium-ion cells and batteries, will be implemented according to the “Resolution on Adjustment of Safety Key Components and Materials List for Mandatory Product Certification for Electronic Products and Safety Accessories”, issued by the TC03 expert group on September 23, 2022.
